Art Movements, Art Styles & Art History

This is the running record of the studio. New collections as they open, artists and periods we have added to the catalogue, tools we build and give away, and the occasional piece of art news worth passing on. It moves slower than a newsroom and that is deliberate: we post when something has actually changed rather than on a schedule. If you are new here, the short version is that we have oil paintings reproduced by hand, one artist to one canvas, made to order in the size you choose. You see a photograph of the finished painting before it ships, it travels rolled in a tube so the surface is never folded, and a certificate of authenticity comes with it. The guides linked from every page go deeper on any of that.
