How a resale order works

Everything is handled by email, and there is no membership and no application.

  • Overhead flat lay of a floor plan, a room list, a tape measure and a pencil on a desk

    Send your list

    Works, sizes and where it ships. A list of titles is enough.

    Quote within one working day
  • A primed canvas on a wooden easel beside a palette with fresh oil paint in a studio

    Approve the quote

    Production starts on a 50% deposit, and each canvas goes to a painter who specializes in that style.

    Painting starts the same week
  • A framed oil painting on an easel photographed in a studio with softboxes and a tripod

    Approve the photographs

    We send high resolution photographs of every finished canvas. Adjustments at that stage are free.

    About 3 weeks on the easel
  • A shipping bench with a cardboard tube, a rolled canvas, a wooden crate and foam corners

    Receive the order

    The balance is due on approval. Rolled canvases ship insured, and framed pieces travel in a crate.

Per unframed canvas in US dollars. One piece is retail. The discount starts at two pieces on the same order and grows with the count, and framing and stretching take the same discount as the canvas.

Questions resellers ask before they order

Can I resell these?

Yes. Provide a resale certificate and sales tax is removed. There is no membership and no application, and volume pricing applies from the second piece on an order, so a first order carries the same tier structure as a tenth order.

What is my landed cost?

Discounts come off the published retail price. One piece is retail, two to four pieces take 20 percent off, five to nine take 25 percent, ten to nineteen take 30 percent and twenty or more take 40 percent. Shipping is free worldwide to a single address. Import duties and taxes in the destination country are not included.

What margin can I hold?

At 30 percent off retail your cost on a 16 by 20 in canvas is 245 dollars against a published retail price of 350 dollars, and at 40 percent, from twenty pieces, it is 210 dollars. The same discount applies to framing and stretching, which are priced separately per size.

Do you ship direct to my customer?

Free shipping covers any single address per order, so a piece can go straight to your customer. Say so with your list. Import duties and taxes fall to whoever is the importer of record in the destination country.
