How it works

How a staging order works

Everything is handled by email, and there is no membership and no application.

  • Overhead flat lay of a floor plan, a room list, a tape measure and a pencil on a desk

    Send the stock list

    Sizes, subjects and the rooms you stage most. Wall dimensions are enough.

    Quote within one working day
  • A primed canvas on a wooden easel beside a palette with fresh oil paint in a studio

    Approve the quote

    Production starts on a 50% deposit, and each canvas goes to a painter who specializes in that style.

    Painting starts the same week
  • A framed oil painting on an easel photographed in a studio with softboxes and a tripod

    Approve the photographs

    We send high resolution photographs of every finished canvas. Adjustments at that stage are free.

    About 3 weeks on the easel
  • A shipping bench with a cardboard tube, a rolled canvas, a wooden crate and foam corners

    Receive the order

    The balance is due on approval. Rolled canvases ship insured, and framed pieces travel in a crate.

Per unframed canvas in US dollars. One piece is retail. The discount starts at two pieces on the same order and grows with the count, and framing and stretching take the same discount as the canvas.

Questions stagers ask before they order

How fast can I get art for a listing?

Paintings are made to order in about 3 weeks plus 3 to 10 days of shipping, so staging stock is bought ahead of a listing rather than per listing. Expedited production is available on request.

What sizes work over a sofa or a bed?

The catalog runs from 16 by 20 in to 48 by 72 in and custom sizes go up to 72 in. Send the wall dimension with your list and the quote comes back with the size options within 24 hours.

Do they arrive ready to hang?

The default finish is unframed canvas shipped rolled, which is how a large order travels. Stretching and framing are priced per size and both take your volume discount. Framing at 30 by 40 in and above moves in a crate, with freight quoted at cost.

What subjects should I choose?

Anything in the public domain. Send the brief with the subjects and the rooms and any public domain painting is produced at wholesale pricing even when it is not in the catalog, so a set can be built around one palette.
