Respecting Intellectual Property Rights

At Art&See, we take copyright laws seriously and strive to ensure that all the images on our site are either licensed or in the public domain. This policy applies to the United States, Canada, the European Union, and countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years.

Our Image Database

Our extensive database contains more than 250,000 images, carefully curated to comply with copyright regulations. However, if you believe we have inadvertently featured an image that infringes on your copyright, please contact us immediately at info@art-and-see.com. We respect intellectual property rights and will promptly remove any copyrighted material upon notification.

It's important to note that faithful reproductions of two-dimensional original works cannot attract copyright in the U.S., according to the ruling in in Bridgeman Art Library vs. Corel Corp.

Custom Orders

For clients placing custom orders, we require certification that you have the right to reproduce any images provided (either in the public domain or with explicit permission to reproduce them). By submitting your order, you grant us the right to reproduce these images.

Art&See creates artworks based on photographs or stock images of public domain masterpieces provided by our customers. Our paintings are not photographic reproductions and will differ from the originals in size, signature, brushstrokes, and other details. Responsibility to ensure that the images are in the public domain, that their use falls within fair use provisions, or that any required copyright permissions have been obtained, remains with the customer.

We take pride in our commitment to upholding intellectual property rights and ensuring a transparent and ethical process for our customers.
